The Buckaroos traveled to Cortez Colorado tonight to take on the Panthers. With just 7 total wrestlers on the Panthers squad and 2 of them out with injury it was a short night for the Buckaroo squad. The match of the night was at heavyweight when Tazz Robinson faced off against Cortez Caleb Ayers whom he had lost to last season. Tazz was taken down by Ayers in the first period but escaped and got a take down of his own. The period ended with Tazz up 3-2. Ayers deferred choice and Tazz choose top. Tazz worked hard but was unable to turn Ayers in the second period and the score remanded the same. At the beginning of the third and final period Ayers choose the neutral position. As the Heavyweights tied up and released Tazz put the Bear Hug on Ayers and took him down to his back he was awarded 2 take down and awarded the Fall.
